Perfect Puppy - 35 days

Since puppies learn differently than adult dogs we offer a separate 35 day Board & Train program specifically for them. This program is designed to get you and your puppy off to the best start possible.

Our focus is on extensive socialization, housebreaking, crate training and teaching of basic commands. All the skills your pup needs to be an easy addition to the family.

There is a window of opportunity between the ages of 8-16 weeks where your puppy is most impressionable and will form his view of the world. That's why socialization at this age is so important. We go on many "field trips" to various public places and expose your puppy to as many new situations and people as possible.

This will help you have a "bomb proof" dog when your puppy grows up, one that isn't fazed by new things and greets each situation happily, instead of with fear or uncertainty. The leading cause of aggression in adult dogs is lack of socialization, so don't miss this chance to socialize your pup!

We will also focus on housebreaking your puppy to the point where he or she will eliminate outside on command, and be on a schedule tailored to your needs. This way you won't have to spend time helping your puppy adjust to your specific schedule, he'll already be used to it!

Staying quietly in a crate is a useful skill for any puppy to have and something that we will teach from the get go. Puppies that are crate trained don't destroy the owners belongings when left home alone, and sleep quietly through the night.

In addition to teaching these "life skills", we also train basic obedience commands such as sit, down, stay, come when called, and the start of loose leash walking.
